Warranty

NTH Degree provides warranty for our range of products to the original purchaser (it’s not transferable and if the sauna is resold, the warranty will be void and not apply to the new owner) free from major defects provided the product has been cared for and maintained according to the required methods available on our website - Residential use 2 years, Commercial use 1 year.

If you notice an issue with our product(s) that has a tangible impact on the performance and/or longevity of the product within these periods, you must advise us immediately and we will attend as quickly as possible to assess and resolve the issue accordingly and reasonably.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Pre-Installation Warranty

Any defect identified in a product supplied by NTH Degree must be reported within 2 days of receiving the product(s) at the delivery/registered address and prior to installation. Products must be kept in their original packaging, in a cool, dry place during this time.

Any major defects will be remedied via exchange/replacement or in some cases, at NTH Degree sole discretion, a partial or full refund may be offered.

Do not attempt to install any product you believe has a defect as this will make it ineligible for the abovementioned remedies.

Installation method

We strongly recommend NTH Degree completes the installation of our products particularly our saunas, to ensure a correct installation is done.

If a customer chooses to install any product themselves or by anyone other than NTH Degree, and upon inspection NTH Degree deems it to be an improper installation, the warranty will be void. If a customer causes any damage to our products during installation whether cosmetic or functional, this will be classed as accidental damage caused by them and the warranty will be void.

Whilst our products are supplied with an AU plug and work in a standard 10AMP GPO meaning no electrical is necessary, any electrical work that is completed (for example installing a new GPO) must be done so by a qualified electrician and proof of this must be provided during any warranty claim.

Location of installed products

Unless specifically stated on the product pages of our website, our saunas are designed for indoor use only or in a well-protected area outside. The saunas can not be exposed to water and direct sunlight. Failure to comply with these requirements will void the warranty. Note: If you choose you install your sauna in a protected area outside, it will affect its ability to reach maximum temperature especially in colder months and this will not be considered a performance defect as the sauna is being impacted by low ambient temperature.

Our portable ice baths can be exposed to the weather however this may accelerate fading. They should not be left in direct sunlight for long periods of times as this could also affect the material and will void your warranty.

The chiller component for our ice baths can not be exposed to the weather as this will cause irreparable damage being an electrical component and will void the warranty.

Defects

The warranty covers any material defects affecting the correct performance of our products. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, issued caused by lack of maintenance, accidental or deliberate misuse or damage.

Issues caused by the following factors are not the responsibility of NTH Degree and are not covered by our warranty.

  • Fading of material colours beyond normal levels and general wear and tear.

  • Accidental or deliberate damage or misuse.

  • Failure to correctly care for and maintain your product(s) in accordance with our required methods available on our website.

  • Any attempt to fix an issue or modify the product in any way by anyone other than an employee or subcontractor of NTH Degree.

The manufacturer reserves the right to determine whether a defect is covered by the warranty and may require proof of purchase or other documentation which we will assist you with.
